Voor elke taal voerden tien native of near-native acteurs per taal 10 taalkundig en semantisch neutrale zinnen uit met verschillende emoties: zes basis (angst, woede, geluk, verdriet, walging, verrassing) en vier complex (vertrouwen, verwarring, minachting, empathie). Elk werd uitgedrukt op twee opwindingsniveaus, met twee proeven per niveau. Bovendien werd elke zin ook in een neutrale staat geproduceerd, wat leidde tot een totaal van 4.100 opnames. De emotionele inhoud van het corpus werd perceptueel gevalideerd door 600 deelnemers per taal. - VREIOB description "EVE corpus ist eine Ressource zur Erkennung von Sprachemotionen in englischen und französischen Audio- und audiovisuellen Inhalten. Für jede Sprache führten zehn muttersprachliche oder nahezu muttersprachliche Akteure pro Sprache zehn sprachlich und semantisch neutrale Sätze mit unterschiedlichen Emotionen durch: sechs grundlegende (Angst, Wut, Glück, Traurigkeit, Ekel, Überraschung) und vier komplexe (Vertrauen, Verwirrung, Verachtung, Empathie). Jeder wurde auf zwei Erregungsebenen ausgedrückt, mit zwei Versuchen pro Ebene. Darüber hinaus wurde jeder Satz auch in einem neutralen Zustand produziert, was zu insgesamt 4.100 Aufnahmen führte. Der emotionale Inhalt des Korpus wurde perzeptuell von 600 Teilnehmern pro Sprache validiert. Die audiovisuellen Aufnahmen wurden in hochauflösender Qualität nach einer strengen Methodik erstellt, wodurch das EVE-Korpus als wertvolles Instrument für akademische und Entwicklungszwecke positioniert wurde.
