Wir haben auch Siphonophora, koloniale Hydrozoa, zu denen der weltberühmte und gefährliche portugiesische Mann des Krieges (Physalia physalis) gehört. Wir haben weniger Scyphozoa, aber dies ist ein Spiegelbild ihrer geringen Vielfalt (es gibt nur 200 bekannte Arten). Auf der anderen Seite ist die Anthozoa-Kollektion beeindruckender und umfasst Weich- und Hartkorallen, Gorgonien, Meeresbuchten und Seeanemonen. Es enthält Exemplare von exotischen Orten wie den Malediven und Papua-Neuguinea. Innerhalb der Hartkorallen ist die Familie Fungiidae sowohl in der nassen als auch in der trockenen Sammlung besonders gut vertreten. Dies ist das Ergebnis des engagierten Sammelns für die Erforschung der Wechselwirkungen zwischen steinbohrenden Leptoconchus-Muscheln und Korallen und der Ökologie dieser Gruppe. Insgesamt hält die RBINS mehr als 6500 cnidarian Proben, einschließlich einer 500-einige Arten." @default.

De collectie bevat monsters in alcohol en microscoopglaasjes. Het is volledig geïnventariseerd en doorzoekbaar met behulp van de DaRWIN-database. We hebben ook Siphonophora, koloniale Hydrozoa die de wereldberoemde en gevaarlijke Portugese man o 'oorlog (Physalia physalis) omvatten. We hebben minder Scyphozoa, maar dit is een weerspiegeling van hun lage diversiteit (er zijn slechts 200 bekende soorten). La collection contient des spécimens dans l'alcool ainsi que des lames de microscope. Il est entièrement inventorié et consultable à l'aide de la base de données DaRWIN. Nous avons aussi Siphonophora, Hydrozoa colonial qui comprend l'homme portugais de renommée mondiale et dangereux o 'guerre (Physalia physalis). Nous avons moins de scyphozoaires, mais cela reflète leur faible diversité (il n'y a que 200 espèces connues). D'autre part, la collection Anthozoa est plus impressionnante et comprend des coraux mous et durs, des gorgones, des enclos marins et des anémones de mer. Il contient des spécimens d'endroits exotiques tels que les Maldives et la Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée. Dans les coraux durs, la famille des Fungiidae est particulièrement bien représentée dans les collections humides et sèches. The collection contains specimens in alcohol as well as microscope slides. It is completely inventoried and searchable using the DaRWIN database. We also have Siphonophora, colonial Hydrozoa that include the world-famous and dangerous Portuguese man o' war (Physalia physalis). We have fewer Scyphozoa, but this is a reflection of their low diversity (there are only 200 known species). On the other hand, the Anthozoa collection is more impressive and includes soft and hard corals, gorgonians, sea pens, and sea anemones. It contains specimens from exotic locations such as the Maldives and Papua New Guinea. Within the hard corals, the family Fungiidae is especially well represented both the wet and dry collections. This is the result of dedicated collecting for research into the interactions between rock-boring Leptoconchus molluscs and corals and the ecology of this group. In total, the RBINS holds more than 6500 cnidarian specimens, including a 500-some types." @default.
