Au sens de la Directive, le thème "usage des sols" couvrent "des territoires caractérisés selon leur dimension fonctionnelle prévue ou leur objet socioéconomique actuel et futur (par exemple, résidentiel, industriel, commercial, agricole, forestier, récréatif)". Ces dernières années, l'impact environnemental de la culture de sapins de Noël a été soulevé à plusieurs reprises (utilisation de produits phytopharmaceutiques, conversion des prairies permanentes en cultures, etc.). La Direction de l'état environnemental (DEE) est en charge de l’élaboration et de la publication des Rapports sur l’état de l’environnement en Wallonie. Ces Rapports ont pour objectif d’établir un constat critique, évolutif et prospectif à propos des différentes composantes de l’environnement wallon, des pressions exercées par les activités humaines ainsi qu’une analyse de la gestion menée, afin d’en informer les décideurs politiques, les citoyens, les acteurs et les gestionnaires de l'environnement (Art. D32 à D36 du Livre Ier du Code de l'Environnement et décret du 16 mars 2006 sur le droit d'accès du public à l'information en matière d'environnement). Dans ce cadre, la DEE maintient une veille scientifique et initie les études nécessaires afin d’intégrer les problématiques environnementales émergentes. C’est dans ce contexte que la DEE (SPW-DGO3-DEMNA) a réalisé une étude visant la production d'une cartographie des surfaces consacrées à la culture du sapin de Noël (csN) en Wallonie. Sur base des principes méthodologiques (cf. généalogie), la couche de données distingue les 3 classes suivantes : - classe 1 : plantations de sapins de Noël proprement dites ; - classe 2 : production de plants (surfaces dédiées à la production de plants de sapins de Noël, de plants forestiers ou de plants d’ornement (phases "semis" et "repiquage")) ; - classe 3 : pépinières et cultures horticoles non comestibles (pépinières de plants forestiers, de plants fruitiers ou de plantes ornementales, et cultures horticoles non comestibles). Le parcellaire agricole anonyme de 2015 a été utilisé comme donnée source. Pour les classes 1 et 2, les parcelles concernées sont d'abord repérées par photo-interprétation des infrarouges des orthophotos. Les parcelles majoritairement couvertes par des sapins de Noël sont copiées depuis le parcellaire agricole. Dans le cas d'une occupation partielle ou si la parcelle est attenante au parcellaire agricole, une nouvelle parcelle est créée. La classe 3 est uniquement dérivée de la couche du parcellaire agricole anonyme sur base du code de culture renseigné dans cette couche. Chaque parcelle est représentée sous forme polygonale et est décrite en regard de différentes variables administratives (commune, province), environnementales (région bioclimatique, altitude) et culturale (nature de la production). La couche de données concerne l'ensemble du territoire wallon. Une mise à jour périodique est prévue." @default.

In de afgelopen jaren is de milieu-impact van de teelt van kerstbomen meerdere malen verhoogd (gebruik van gewasbeschermingsmiddelen, omzetting van blijvend grasland in gewassen, enz.). Het directoraat Milieutoestand (DEE) is verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen en publiceren van verslagen over de toestand van het milieu in Wallonië. Het doel van deze rapporten is het opstellen van een kritische, evoluerende en toekomstgerichte beoordeling van de verschillende componenten van het Waalse milieu, de druk die wordt uitgeoefend door menselijke activiteiten en een analyse van het uitgevoerde beheer, om beleidsmakers, burgers, belanghebbenden op milieugebied en managers te informeren (artikelen D32 tot D36 van boek I van het milieuwetboek en decreet van 16 maart 2006 inzake het recht van toegang van het publiek tot milieu-informatie). In dit verband handhaaft de EED het wetenschappelijk toezicht en initieert zij de nodige studies om opkomende milieukwesties te integreren. Het is in deze context dat de DEE (SPW-DGO3-DEMNA) een studie heeft uitgevoerd om een kaart te maken van de gebieden die gewijd zijn aan de teelt van de kerstboom (csN) in Wallonië. Op basis van methodologische principes (zie genealogie) onderscheidt de datalaag de volgende drie klassen: Klasse 1: de eigenlijke aanplant van kerstbomen; Klasse 2: productie van zaailingen (gebieden die bestemd zijn voor de productie van kerstboomzaailingen, boszaailingen of sierzaailingen (zaai- en plukfasen); Klasse 3: niet-eetbare kwekerijen en tuinbouwgewassen (bos-, fruit- of sierkwekerijen en niet-eetbare tuinbouwgewassen). Het anonieme landbouwperceel van 2015 werd gebruikt als brongegevens. Voor de klassen 1 en 2 worden de betrokken waarnemingspunten eerst geïdentificeerd door foto-interpretatie van het infrarood van de orthofoto's. De percelen meestal bedekt met kerstbomen worden gekopieerd van het landbouwperceel. In het geval van gedeeltelijke bewoning of als het perceel grenst aan het landbouwperceel, wordt een nieuw perceel gecreëerd. Klasse 3 wordt alleen afgeleid van de laag van het anonieme landbouwperceel op basis van de in die laag ingevoerde gewascode. Elk perceel is weergegeven in veelhoekige vorm en wordt beschreven in relatie tot verschillende administratieve variabelen (gemeente, provincie), omgevingsvariabelen (bioklimatologische regio, hoogte) en culturele variabelen (aard van de productie). In den letzten Jahren wurde wiederholt auf die Umweltauswirkungen des Anbaus von Weihnachtsbäumen hingewiesen (Verwendung von Pflanzenschutzmitteln, Umwandlung von Dauergrünland in Kulturpflanzen usw.). Die Direktion für den Umweltzustand (DEE) ist für die Erstellung und Veröffentlichung der Berichte über den Zustand der Umwelt in der Wallonie zuständig. Ziel dieser Berichte ist es, eine kritische, evolutionäre und zukunftsorientierte Feststellung über die verschiedenen Komponenten der wallonischen Umwelt, den durch menschliche Tätigkeiten ausgeübten Druck sowie eine Analyse des durchgeführten Managements zu treffen, um die politischen Entscheidungsträger, die Bürger, die Akteure und die Umweltmanager zu informieren (Art. D32 bis D36 des Ersten Buches des Umweltgesetzbuchs und Dekret vom 16. März 2006 über das Recht der Öffentlichkeit auf Zugang zu Umweltinformationen). In diesem Zusammenhang unterhält die Energieeffizienzrichtlinie eine wissenschaftliche Beobachtung und leitet die erforderlichen Studien ein, um aufkommende Umweltprobleme zu berücksichtigen. Die anonyme landwirtschaftliche Parzelle von 2015 wurde als Quelldaten verwendet. Für die Klassen 1 und 2 werden die betreffenden Parzellen zunächst durch Fotointerpretation der Infrarotbilder der Orthofotos ermittelt. Die Parzellen, die mehrheitlich mit Weihnachtsbäumen bedeckt sind, werden aus dem landwirtschaftlichen Parzellenbereich kopiert. Bei Teilbelegung oder wenn die Parzelle an die landwirtschaftliche Parzelle angrenzt, wird eine neue Parzelle angelegt. Klasse 3 wird nur aus der Schicht der anonymen landwirtschaftlichen Parzelle auf der Grundlage des in dieser Schicht angegebenen Anbaucodes abgeleitet. Jede Parzelle ist in polygonaler Form dargestellt und wird neben verschiedenen administrativen Variablen (Gemeinde, Provinz), Umweltvariablen (bioklimatische Region, Höhe) und Kulturvariablen (Art der Erzeugung) beschrieben. The Directorate for Environmental Status (DEE) is responsible for drawing up and publishing reports on the state of the environment in Wallonia.
