Les types de couverture sont les suivants: - terre arable - prairie permanente - culture permanente Les surfaces agricoles reprennent également les éléments du paysage (à partir de 2023) et les surfaces d'intérêt écologique (SIE; avant 2023). Chaque surface agricole est porteuse d’une identification unique enregistrée dans le LPIS, système d'information géographique (SIG) de la Wallonie. Elles concernent l'entièreté du territoire wallon. Elk landbouwareaal is voorzien van een unieke identificatie die is geregistreerd in het LPIS, het Geografisch Informatiesysteem (GIS) van Wallonië. Zij hebben betrekking op het gehele Waalse grondgebied. Landbouwarealen worden bekendgemaakt om te voldoen aan Verordening (EU) 2023/138/EU.
