Ce service de téléchargement simple permet d’accéder en téléchargement aux couches de données présentées "telles quelles", c'est-à-dire dans leur modèle de données initial, non conforme aux spécifications de données définies par la Directive. Les couches de données seront progressivement adaptées aux modèles de donnée commun INSPIRE suivant les spécifications du thème. Le service propose les opérations suivantes : - Accéder aux métadonnées du service de téléchargement; - Décrire les couches de données géographiques relative au thème "Régions biogéographiques"; - Accéder aux couches de données géographiques relatives au thème "Régions biogéographiques"." @default.

Het maakt gebruik van ATOM Feed data flow technologie. De dienst voldoet in dit opzicht aan de specificaties van de INSPIRE-richtlijn. Deze eenvoudige downloaddienst biedt downloadtoegang tot de gegevenslagen die worden gepresenteerd "zoals ze zijn", d.w.z. in hun oorspronkelijke gegevensmodel, dat niet voldoet aan de in de richtlijn vastgestelde gegevensspecificaties. De gegevenslagen zullen geleidelijk worden aangepast aan de gemeenschappelijke gegevensmodellen van INSPIRE volgens de themaspecificaties.
