Dit zijn biotopen die naar biologische waarden en belang voor de biodiversiteit vergelijkbaar zijn met habitattypen, maar die op Europees niveau minder bedreigd zijn.Deze kaart geeft de best beschikbare informatie anno 2018 over de verspreiding van de Natura 2000 habitattypen, de regionaal belangrijke biotopen en de karteringseenheden van de Biologische Waarderingskaart. Dit kan een vereenvoudiging zijn van de werkelijkheid op terrein. Ten allen tijde geldt de reële situatie op terrein voor toepassing t.b.v. het beleidsmatig en wettelijk kader." @default.

Das aktualisierte BWK, Version 2, versucht, im Vergleich zu Version 1, mehr Anforderungen und Bedürfnisse sowohl in Bezug auf Inhalt als auch Genauigkeit zu erfüllen.Diese Version des BWK umfasst auch die Natura-2000-Lebensraumtypen. In Flandern sind derzeit 47 Natura-2000-Lebensraumtypen in Anhang I der Habitat-Richtlinie aufgeführt. Darüber hinaus wurden in Flandern 15 regional wichtige Biotope definiert. Cette version du BWK inclut également les types d’habitats Natura 2000. En Flandre, il existe actuellement 47 types d’habitats Natura 2000 énumérés à l’annexe I de la directive «Habitats». En outre, 15 biotopes d'importance régionale ont également été définis en Flandre. Il s’agit de biotopes comparables aux types d’habitats en termes de valeurs biologiques et d’importance pour la biodiversité, mais moins menacés au niveau européen.
